Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Spa Bali has announced the appointment of, Lakshman T. Perera as the new General Manager of the 5 star Resort. He will oversee the operations of the Bali all inclusive resort with its 301 rooms and suites, 3 restaurants and 2 bars, Thalasso spa and will overlook the renovation of the new 85 room family wing of the resort and 3-bedroom villas .

An Australian national started his career in hospitality industry in USA at Sheraton Boston Hotel & Westin Boston Hotel, and continued his career in luxury hotel brands such as Shangri-la and Grand Hyatt In Sydney, Hongkong , Shanghai , Manila and Melbourne. He has worked as General Manager in Singapore , Saigon and most recently at the Sultan Hotel and Residence in Jakarta.

He graduated from Revenue Management and Food & Beverage Management in Cornell University, USA, and Hotel Management in George Brown College, Canada. His wealth of hospitality experience has assured Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali to put the trust on him.

He shared his new role enthusiastically, “I am looking forward to working in the playful side of paradise with the wonderful Balinese team at Grand Mirage to elevate the hotel next level.”
