Q: How long you have been working in Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali?

A: I have been working in this fabulous resort since 2009.

Q: What is your position at Grand Mirage Resort?

A: I'm a cook helper

Q: What is the best moment that you have already experienced so far in relation to your position?

A: I was honoured to be chosen as the best employee of this month. I would like to thank the Management for the recognition. I was a bit surprised at first. To be honest, I did not expect for anything. I just do what I'm really passionate about and always strive to deliver the guest's expectation.

One of the best times I had is when I was chosen to represent Grand Mirage Resort and Thalasso Bali in a culinary competition at Nusa Dua Fiesta. It was indeed an exciting experience where I learned a lot more on how to be a good Chef in the future.

Learning that guests are enjoying the food that the culinary team has prepared is also the best moment I have working at Grand Mirage.

Q: Where does your inspiration come from?

A: My Executive Souse Chef, Bu Nanik who has dedicated her life to culinary world for almost 30 years. She has inspired me to do and love what I am truly passionate about.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?

A: Chilling out with my friends.

Q: How long you have been working in Grand Mirage Resort and Thalasso Bali?

A: I have been working here since the grand opening in June 1993. This year is my 19th year working in this heavenly retreat.


Q: What is your position at Grand Mirage Resort?

A: Room maid


Q: What is the best moment that you have already experienced in relation to your position?

A: This is my third time to be named as the best employee. I am very thankful for this valuable recognition from the Management. The fact that they appreciate my work makes me truly proud. Back in 1999, it was my wedding day. One of our repeat guests had promised that he'd come to my wedding celebration but due to unforeseen circumstances, finally he could not make it. Surprisingly, one day after my wedding day, he and his wife visited us! I was honoured to have them as my guests. The fact that guests really like Indonesian food, including kolak pisang, is also the best moment.


Q: Where does your inspiration come from?

A: My inspiration comes from my family. They inspire me to always do what I really love.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?

A: Listening to pop music.
