Entertainment & Cultural Events Many different kinds of entertainment are available at the Mirage Resorts . Some of this shows are proformed on a weekly base . If you plan incentive events or special private dinner feel free to combine two or even three events to make your function more spectacular Royal Welcome Parada Upon arrival at the beautiful Mirage Resorts all guest will be welcome by a Gamelan ( +_ 40 pax) , welcome girls dressed in Balinese dance Costume who will shower flowers on the guest as the arrive , as a gesture of welcome . All guest will be presented with a special welcome drink served in a young coconut , a cold towel and a fruit basket in the room . Marching Band Fifty five children in colorful costume will treat you to a parade of drums and bass instruments a visual delights for all guest on a special occasion. Tek - Tekan 100 - 200 of Balie’s Bamboo musicians , dancer and tourch bearers - procession or backdrop style Jegog Orchestra ( +_ 60 pax ) Is the name of instruments made of giant Bamboo , orginally from the Jembrana Regency. They where used as sign to gather members of society for mutual acid, meetings or other activities . The dances is divided in to 4 act’s Ramayana Ballet ( +_ 60 pax_ ) Is a famous Hindu Epic wich tells the story of Rama and his beautiful wife Sita, Fighting against the evil King of Lengkapura and Rahwana East Meets West Ballet A modern choreographed ballet with Indonesian Cultural Influence. This Exotic floor show is performed by a troop of young Balinese Dancers Indonesian Keroncong Orchestra Violin , Bass, Flute , Piano and Guitar Mirage Duo Rosi and Jim Key Board and a female singer will make this event special Indonesian Fashion and Costume Parada Tne couples showing ethnic Costumes from the archipelago of Indonesia followed by a fashion show presenting Western dresses from well know Indonesian Designers Kaleidoscope of Indonesia Indonesian Culture and religions underline the alk from the cocktail area to the function area . The total entertainer involved in this events is about 500 to up to 1.000 pax . It’s an experience out of this world Island of the Gods A group of Dayang ( young serving Girls) going from table to table , bearing a gong and flower . You are formally welcomed by the sounds of the group and greeted with hands pressed together in a respectful courteous salute . Flower petals are sprinkled on the table before the dinner . Ladies are presented with flowers theaded on the stalks and ecorated while men are given a flower to put by their ear . Rajapala Service Dinner is served in the Rajapala style , reserved for royality. A procession of maids dressed traditionally with each carrying one dish, ( on their head for the first course, in a clay pot for main course ) accompanied by a couple , carrying royal umbrellas to each guest , another experience out of this world Mirage Band Four to six person dance band with 2 vocal Children Choir A choir of 30 children perfom on individual repertoire and Indonesian folklore Kecak Dance Originally the kecak was a group of men who through prayer would put Sanghyang Girls into trance , the intention of any Sanghyang ( trance ) performance is that the girls while in a state of trance will be capable of hearing and telling the wishes of the Gods and ancestores Rajapala The adventure of Rajapala is one of the well know clasic stories in Bali Legong Dance A fine epic tale of the Hindu Empire , Dance and Pantomime Joged Bumbung Welcome and counting dance with active participation by guest . Frog Dance Frog Ballet performance by eleven dancer accompanied by drum Angklung Bamboo The angklung instrument made only of bamboo, originated from west Java.
