Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali Commits to Supporting Scholars of Sustenance

Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali is proud to announce a partnership with Scholars of Sustenance (SOS), a global non-profit food rescue foundation established out of USA. This partnership, which was initiated in November 2018, is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility program aims to help communities in need at no cost.
“We are happy to support SOS by giving our high quality of food to be distributed to orphanages, mental hospital and other communities who can get the benefit from,” said resort’s General Manager, Mr. Lakshman Perera.
Our F&B team helps to prepare meat, fruits, vegetables & breads and pack them in appropriate food grade containers provided by SOS. SOS staff then picks up the food on a daily basis using cooler truck or a motorbike with a cooler box to assure the food safety. According to SOS, before they distribute the food to the recipients, it is evaluated to ensure the food donated meets all health and safety standards and regulations.
SOS Indonesia was founded in 2016 in Bali. Their partnership with hotel donors started in the area of Sanur, Kuta, Denpasar and Legian. Growing rapidly, now SOS has signed donation agreement with many hotels across Nusa Dua, including Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali in Tanjung Benoa area.
