In celebration of International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, Grand Mirage Resort is proud to reaffirm its commitment to environmental sustainability through active mangrove planting initiatives.
Mangroves, often referred to as the “guardians of our ecosystem,” provide a multitude of benefits. These vital trees play a crucial role in absorbing significant amounts of carbon dioxide, protecting coastal areas from erosion, and creating essential habitats for diverse marine life. Despite their importance, mangroves face increasing threats from deforestation, pollution, and climate change.
