A Step Toward Sustainability On International Mangrove Day

In celebration of International Mangrove Day, Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali held a mangrove planting activity at Wana Segara Kertih, Jimbaran, as part of its continued commitment to sustainability and environmental care.
Mangroves play a vital role in protecting coastal areas from erosion, buffering against storms and tidal waves, and acting as natural water filters. They also help combat climate change by absorbing and storing large amounts of carbon dioxide, making them crucial in global climate resilience efforts.
This meaningful event is one of many sustainability-focused efforts the resort supports as part of its environmental and social responsibility programs. It reflects Grand Mirage’s belief that true hospitality also includes giving back to nature and the local community.
