Nyepi is an important day in the Balinese calendar and is highly anticipated by the people of Bali. Just like other cultures have their own New Year, Balinese people celebrate Nyepi Day as the New Caka Year. This is truly a unique moment in Bali. During this occasion, all human activities are paused for 24 hours from 6 am on 29 March to 6 am on 30 March 2025.
There are specific rules that must be followed during Nyepi Day, known as “Catur Brata Penyepian”, which consists of four key restrictions: Amati Geni (No Fire), Amati Karya (No Working/ No Activity), Amati Lelungan (No going outside of the house/compound), Amati Lelanguan (No Entertainment).
On this sacred day, Bali comes to a complete standstill, airports close, streets are deserted, and everyone remains indoors without lights or sounds. It's a rare moment of tranquility, allowing nature to rest and rejuvenate from human activities and pollution.
The Grand Mirage Resort is offering special Silence Day Nyepi Packages starting from:
IDR 4,500,000 Net/package for the New Premiere Garden View and IDR 5,500,000 Net/package for the New Premiere Ocean View.
Minimum 2-night stay is required for the packages during the stay period 28th - 30th March 2025.
Free access to non-motorized water sports (except on 29th March 2025).

During Nyepi Day, the Kids Club will be open from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, providing activities, a games room, and an indoor playground. However, our mini water park will be closed (pump off). The Gym Center will be open from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM, and the games room at main building will operate from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Thalasso SPA will open from 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM.
Adult Activities: Yoga, Water Stretching, Water Volleyball, and more (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM).
Breakfast: Grand Café & Ibu Kitchen (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM).
Lunch: Grand Café Restaurant, Jukung Restaurant, Ibu Kitchen, Mahi-Mahi Restaurant (11:00 AM - 2:30 PM, only for lunch).
Dinner: Grand Café & Ibu Kitchen (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM).
Room service is available.
We kindly ask all guests to remain within the resort from 6.00 am on 29th to 6.00 am on 30th March 2025. Lights outside of the rooms must be switched off, and guests are advised to keep the curtains closed and avoid using any electronic devices that emit light during Nyepi Day.
