Nyepi day is one of Balinese ceremonies to celebrate the Balinese New Year in a silent way – called Nyepi - which is used for Balinese people as a time for meditation. This celebration takes 24 hours of silence, from 06.00 am to 06.00 am the next day, include ‘amati geni’ or no fire, amati karya or ‘no activity’, ‘amati lelungan’ or no travel, and ‘amati lelanguan’ which means no entertainment.

The adult activities start from 09.00 am with Yoga basic Class, Pool Fun Aerobic, high tea, fruit carving and many more,then finish at 16.00 with pool tournament. Lunch will be served in Grand Café and Mahi Mahi restaurant, while the dinner will be served in Grand Café, Bumbu Delhi, and Ibu Kitchen with the freshest ingredients in every single palates.
During Nyepi, all the streets, Airport, bus stations and harbors remain closed for the entire day and outdoor activity is not allowed. All the lights and sounds will be remaining off. The only exceptions granted for emergency vehicles carrying those with life-threatening conditions and women about to give birth, ambulance, police patrol and pecalang – traditional Balinese police.
